Dr. James DiLorenzo
Chairman, Chief Technical Operations Officer, Paratek Microwave, Inc.
With 30 years of experience in semiconductors, military and commercial wireless electronics, DiLorenzo formerly served as President and COO of electronics equipment manufacturer Signal Technology. Prior to that, DiLorenzo was General Manager of Raytheon's Microelectronics Division. DiLorenzo was also the VP of R&D at the semiconductor division of Siemens and a Director at AT&T Bell Labs.

Ralph Pini
President and CEO, Paratek Microwave, Inc.
Ralph worked at Motorola for 30 years in various technical and managerial roles. His most recent position at Motorola was as Senior Vice President and CTO of the Wireless Personal Communications Sector. He was responsible for the R&D activities related to all wireless technologies and creating value for the company and growth through pioneering innovation, visible technology leadership, and intellectual property development. Ralph is on the executive technical advisory board to FIRST ROBOT.

Alan Spoon
General Partner, Polaris Venture Partners
A general partner at the Boston office of Polaris since 2000, Alan focuses on investments in information technology, with emphasis on revenue-stage companies, digital media, e-commerce, distance learning, and financial services. Prior to joining Polaris, Alan spent 18 years with The Washington Post Company (education services and diversified media). During his career with The Post Company, he served as President and Board member. Previously he had been Chief Financial Officer, President of Newsweek, supervising executive for Kaplan, head of marketing for The Washington Post, and head of corporate business development. The Post Company has significant activities in publishing, educational services (Kaplan), television, and cable. Alan also was responsible for early stage technology investments in cellular (Cellular One and digital PCS), distance learning and educational software, and information and e-commerce services (including Washingtonpost.com, Citysearch.com, Cars.com, Exchange.com, Junglee, BrassRing, and WebTV). Prior to The Washington Post, Alan was an officer at The Boston Consulting Group, an international management consulting firm specializing in corporate strategy. Alan earned his S.B. at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an S.M. at M.I.T.’s Sloan School of Management, and a J.D., with honors, from Harvard Law School.

Robert Geiman
Director
Bob is a proven operator and investor in mobile and new media. Bob is the founding CEO of EveryScreen Media, a mobile advertising technology and data company. In addition, Bob is Chairman of the Board of Roundbox, a leading provider of mobile video software and applications; Chairman of the Board of Bappster, a mobile social media company and serves on the Advisory Boards of Paneve, a software programmable, video processing company for mobile devices and tablets; Perky Jerky, a guerilla marketing company that is selling specialty food products; Spring Partners, a web/mobile application company; and TapAd, a company that is building an advertising network focused on rich media and video. Previously, Bob Geiman was a General Partner at Polaris Venture Partners, a Boston, MA-based venture capital firm where he focused primarily on investing in early stage and later stage companies in the mobile and media sectors. Prior to Polaris, Bob served in product and business development roles at Envoy Networks, was the Senior Director of Corporate Development and advisor to the CEO at MCK Communications, and was an Associate at Boston-based private equity firm Summit Partners Bob has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA, cum laude, from Dartmouth College.

Robert Pavey
General Partner, Morgenthaler Ventures
Pavey joined Morgenthaler in 1969 and today participates in the company's investments in information technology companies, with a focus on communications. A member of numerous corporate boards, Pavey is currently is a Trustee of the Commonfund, a leading educational firm for non-profit endowments, and is past President and Chairman of the National Venture Capital Association. Pavey holds a BS in physics from The College of William & Mary, an MS in Metallurgical Engineering from Columbia University, and an MBA from Harvard University.

Tom Scholl
Partner, Novak Biddle Venture Partners
A technology investor and entrepreneur, Scholl in 1990 founded Telogy Networks, a leading provider of embedded communications software products for digital packet and wireless networks later acquired by Texas Instruments. In 1995, Scholl co-founded Cognio, a developer of technology for short-range wireless applications. Prior to Telogy, Scholl was Senior Vice President of Engineering at Hughes Network Systems. An alumnus of Purdue University and the executive management program at MIT Sloan School, Scholl is a member of the Board of Visitors at the Clark School of Engineering of the University of Maryland and is a trustee at Capitol College. Scholl holds a number of software, Internet and digital telephone systems patents.

Dr. Albert Kim
Vice President, Investor Growth Capital
Dr. Albert Kim joined Investor Growth Capital in 2001 as a Senior Associate responsible for investments in information technology companies. Prior to joining Investor Growth Capital, Kim worked at Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Co, and served as a technology consultant to various Venture Capital firms and angel investors. Dr Kim received a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Harvard University, a M.S. in Physics from the RWTH Aachen in Germany, and has published several articles in scientific peer-reviewed journals. Kim serves on the board of Princeton Optronics and is a board observer at White Rock Networks.

Aidar Gabidoulin
Partner, S-Group Capital Management
Aidar Gabidoullin is a Partner of S-Group Capital Management, with responsibility for financial and high-growth technology companies. Aidar has extensive experience both in acquisitions and in strategic and operational management of high-growth companies in the financial and high-tech industries. Prior to joining S-Group Capital Management, Aidar worked as a Senior Consultant for Andersen Consulting (London), where he was responsible for developing IT and operations solutions to improve costs and the efficiency of operations. After this he was an Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Co. (Russia), where he was responsible for developing strategies for high-growth companies. Before joining SGCM, he was Director for Strategy and Operations at Capital One (USA) where he developed business strategies that enabled the bank to grow at 25% per year, through organic growth and via the acquisition of a number of regional banks. Aidar is on the board of directors of five companies located in Russia, the US and Europe. Aidar graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and holds an MBA degree from the INSEAD Business School (France).

Robert Pezzani
Director
Robert has more than 40 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He served as Design, Applications and System Engineering Director in the ASD and IPAD Division of ST Microelectronics. Robert created the IPADTM (Integrated Passive and Active Devices) concept allowing the efficient integration of passive and active devices in a single chip, for higher miniaturization and better efficiency and immunity. He was a key contributor to the start-up of this product family which achieved great success in the base band applications of the mobile phone and was extended to the RF applications from 2005. Robert was member of numerous scientific societies (IEEE, MRS…) and acted as expert in international committees (IEDM, PMCIM) or in support of French administrations. He filed in excess of 40 patents and wrote or participated to various technical papers. He is graduated from the French Engineering School “Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers”
