The world of wireless communications is tremendously exciting. As the industry moves toward more capable multi-band handsets, performance cannot take a back seat to style. Too often, style and compromise win out.
But what if you could get style and performance, without compromises? That's where Paratek comes in.
Our tunable RF technology called ParaScan™ is a thin-film dielectric material that can vary its capacitance as voltage is changed. That means wireless circuits that can adaptively and dynamically tune! Smaller and thinner internal antennas will immediately perform better and across multiple bands. RF tuning inside the handset means that talk time, call quality, and battery life will all increase. It also means that handset designers no longer need to compromise when it comes to combining style and function!
Thanks to the breakthrough in Adaptive RF tuning that ParaScan represents, Paratek produces exceptionally small and precise tunable ICs under the ParaTune™ family name. These tunable ICs have the unique ability to change capacitance upon a change in bias voltage. Using the tunable ICs as a foundation, Paratek produces integrated products that adaptively improve antenna impedance so that handsets can be slim and stylish without any compromise in performance.
